September 8th, 2007Hello. I’m Drocket. and this is my website. I’m a big fan of games, especially MMORPGs, and I’ll be using this site to post random thoughts on whatever game I’m playing, as well as whatever other random thoughts pop into my head.
I used to be the lead developer of a few private Ultima Online shards, starting with the World of Dreams and for a short time Arcadia. After World of Dreams closed, I tried to start a new shard names Age of Honor, but that never really got off the ground. Currently I’m not doing much of anything at all.

Sooo ConnectUO is 2.0 and actually works! And my graphic design and coding skills are going to waste making money when they could be working on AoH again! *cries*
Also looks like POL has been releasing new versions, though I don’t know if it compares to RunUO 2.0 yet. I haven’t been playing or keep up on UO, at all, but wow I’ve missed WoD lately.. it spoiled me so much I haven’t been able to enjoy UO since, and I know only AoH could satisfy me now! Though even that’s not likely to ever be revived, huh? Someday, Drocket.. I’m going to bring back the glory of WoD-style UO! Even if I’m the only one that plays it.. hahah

I’ve actually been missing WoD somewhat lately, too. I really don’t think that it, or AoH, would ever be coming back. Actually, I think its amazing that UO itself is still around.

I loved WoD!
Would like to play it again.
I think fondly of all my fellow wodians.
Guess I’d have to set up a personal server, but it would be fun to have more people.
